New Fixture Added!
I'm pleased to confirm that we shall be returning to Woodborough Cricket Club on Sunday June 13th. Many of you will remember a nail biting final over victory for MPCC last season in glorious conditions so hopefully this year will be more of the same!

End of Season Awayday, Get Your A/L In!!!
Following a combination of requests for some kind of tour and some kind of end of season social, I hope to have successfully combined the two together for what should be a great day of cricket followed by an end of season social! On Wednesday 22nd September 2010 we are set to play the Westminster Police Cricket Club at the Metropolitan Police Bushey Sports Club in Hertfordshire (off the M1, not too far from Watford).

Because of lighting restrictions, I have agreed to a midday start for a 40 over match. My proposal is that we then go on to celebrate the end of another season by sharing a social beer or ten. Naturally, for us to get the best out of it, an overnight stay would be in order and I am currently looking into mini-bus based transport and appropriate accommodation which I am sure the club will be in a position to subsidise. I understand that for most of us this may well have annual leave implications, hence getting it sorted early so you can all start building your TOIL up! I hope as many of you as possible to take part in what should be a great day out. All we need is the weather!!
