No Fixture Sunday 5th September

Following conversations at yesterday's game, I have ceased searching for a fixture for the above date making yesterday, for those that are not playing Westminster Police on the 23rd September that last game of the season.

For those not travelling to that fixture, thanks for your continued support over the 2010 season and see you at nets 2011.

For those travelling, I'll save myself for some proper, beered up "Love you mate" action then!

Chesterfield Congregational Cancel

Chesterfield Congregational CC have cancelled as they are unable to field a team. If their is interest, I will try to find an alternative fixture as this was to be our last game of the season prior to our trip to play Westminster. Thoughts appreciated.

Directions to Church of the Assumption

Gents, directions as passed to me by their rep.

From Nottingham end, take A52 past QMC, Priory Pub Island then at Beeston turn left into Central Avenue. The recreation ground is on the right. Easy.

2pm START, hence please get there earlier than that (you know who you are).

Availability Required for 29/08/10

Gentlemen your availability is required for Sunday's trip to play Church of the Assumption CC. We have never played these boys before but they turn out for somebody every week so I am expecting a reasonable team. I will have ground details soon, but am aware that they play in Beeston, Nottingham or very close to. I have backed this up with an email so replies in the usual way appreciated.

Sorry It's Been A While

Back off me jollies, apologies for the blog being a little neglected of late. Got a couple of weeks off now so plan to get caught up.

Volunteer Wanted

I (PQ that is) will not be available for the re-arranged game against Luxfer Gas on Wednesday 18th August. As such, I am looking for a volunteer to take care of all the sh*te I normally do (kit, money, pay for pitch, contact opposition, match report etc etc). Sssshhhh.............it's all gone quiet over there!

Trip to the Test a Success

Thanks to those that turned out to MPCC's trip to Trent Bridge to watch the 3rd day of the 1st NPower Test Match between England and Pakistan. I think it's fair to say the touring party had a good day. We learnt that Rem went to Grammer School which was where he perfected his "cupping" technique, Daz has had a hit single and Gabby is a regular visitor to Truro. Some of us also learnt that 16 pints gives you very little love the following morning!
