More Memories of Humberside

Memories of Humberside

And so it was...............

And so the MPCC 2011 season drew to close with the hardy bunch pictured above taking to the field. Far from covering themselves in glory, losing the toss proved to be significant as wicket after wicket fell with all but Waggy appearing to have more interest in the contents of the bar than the result.

As is usual for an MPCC trip the players learned alot about themselves and one another. Matt Sisson for example has taken Glenn Longdens crown for having the most securely welded shut wallet of the team, Daz Hall changes into Oliver Reed after a couple of bottles of red wine and Julian Davies doesn't wear white.

As always, a big thanks goes to all of those that have supported MPCC over the last few months. Without players, there isn't a team.

Rockley Cancelled

With regret our forthcoming fixture against Rockley Gentlemen has been cancelled at our request because of the number of players unavailable owing to the cancellation of rest days and annual leave in response to the current public disorder demands being placed on the Force.

Naturally, MPCC wishes all officers deployed up and down the country a safe return to normal duties.
