New Fixture Added!
I'm pleased to announce that we shall again play Toton & Beeston Sycamore on 18th July. This will hopefully be a home fixture subject to Clipstone's availability but if not we will travel to them. Another team we owe one too given they were one of only two sides to beat us last year.

Kit Has Arrived!!
For all of you that ordered team kit I am pleased to tell you that it has finally arrived. I am really pleased with the way it has turned out and am sure that you all will be too. As such I am now happy to relieve you of £35 for those that ordered sets. For those that ordered individual items (cheap basts!) I shall contact you direct! Prompt payment would be appreciated as the club has shelled out for the lot....leaving us a bit short financially with nets and match balls still to pay for prior to receiving any further S&SC funding.

Ray Hang's Up His Spikes
It was with a heavy heart that I recently fielded a call from tricky spinner and opening batsman Ray Goddard to tell me that his cricketing days were over in favour of another sport involving windy walks combined with getting a little ball into a hole in the ground.
Needless to say Ray will be missed this season if for nothing else but having the bottle to open the batting, an ever increasing unpopular role in our squad!!
As such...........I will be looking for volunteers this coming season. Spike Davis has done it a few times and would be good if we could get him a patience implant fitted. Daz Hall is ever reliable as his average suggests but can't play every game because of shifts.
There were some great performances with the bat last year, Glenn Longden and Eggy in particular making some brilliant contributions outside the opening pair so c'mon boys..........have a think about opening!!!

Radcliffe Rovers CC will visit us on 27th June. They gave us a bit of a clubbing last year so hopefully this time we'll get to give a bit back!

New Fixture Added!
Bingham CC will visit us on 4th July at Thoresby Colliery's ground. This will provide us with a good test against league opposition.
